My name and Rachel and I’m so excited you’re visiting my blog! I’m passionate about helping you discover a love for nourishing your mind, body, and soul. Nourishing Provisions is a lifestyle blog dedicated to simple recipes, outdoor adventures, and eco-minimalism.

FOOD:

Here you’ll find simple, wholesome recipes for everyday life. I’ve also just started a journey toward a Plant-based Diet. While I do try to keep 90% of my recipes easy, healthy, weekday meals, my love of traditional cooking pops in for a visit occasionally. Along with simple recipes, you’ll also find some fun couple-cook-together, canning, and campfire recipes here also!

OUTDOORS:

I’m an avid hiker and outdoorswoman. I use nature to nourish my soul. I feel most at home in the woods and mountains. I’ll be sharing some of my favorite hiking, camping, and outdoor adventures with you here. As well as some camping recipes, tips, and reviews.

ECO-MINIMALIST:

Being an avid outdoorswoman, the environment has always been very important to me. So topics on sustainability, low/no-waste living, and minimalism will also be featured.

ABOUT ME:

Born and raised a southern girl, after some traveling, I’ve returned home to the foothills of South Carolina where I live with my husband, Chris, and mini Goldendoodle, Riley. By day, I’m a graphic designer and work with nonprofits to create brands, websites, and marketing collateral. I love being creative!

When I’m not working, you’ll find me meandering on trails in the Blue Ridge Mountains, traveling, cooking, or reading!
